Duration: 9 hours, spread over 3 sessions
Schedule: Friday, January 27, February 3 and February 17, 6:00 -9:00 pm.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Glass Beadmaking - The First Steps or equivalent; completion of safety orientation

Fee: $210, includes all materials and equipment
When 2 to 4 students sign up together, each receives a $20 discount
Participants will be taught and will practice how to:
- Use heat and tools effectively to shape beads and preserve decorations
- Create round, barrel, tube, and hollow beads
- Encase beads to create a sense of depth
- Depending on class interest and time permitting, additional techniques may include masking, stacked dots, flowers, raking, intentional air bubbles, implosion beads, creating and applying simple murrini

To help students master their skills, each participant who completes this class receives 2 free rental hours, including tools
NOTE: Because beads must be placed in a kiln to cool gradually, your work will not be available for pick up until the day after the class. If you prefer, beads can be shipped to you for $5.
