Pet Sculptures

I sculpt each "Best Friend" free hand from molten glass using no molds or paints. I strive to capture each dog's features and personality in glass. As in nature, no two sculptures are the same.

I am honored that my true-to-life miniature glass portraits of

dog heads are considered among the best in the world.

Several of my dogs have been featured in Flow Magazine's

2010 and 2011 "Women in Glass" galleries, and I was chosen

by Beading Times as its "Artist of the Month" largely because of my dogs.

Using only simple tools like a paring knife and tweezers,

I create each dog head from rods of glass that I melt and manipultate in propane and oxygen torch. I am very proud of my ability to capture each treasured pet's physical attributes and personality in glass.
