Trained lampworkers may rent studio time if, in our opinion, the individuals can function safely without supervision. Prior to their first rental, all individuals must participate in a studio and safety orientation.
RENTAL OPTIONS
Rates, WITH tool rental
Includes use of standard studio tools (Minor burner, mandrels, bead release, small graphite paddle, straight and curved picks, 8" tweezers ), ACE safety glasses, and digitally controlled annealer.
Hourly rate:
$14 first hour*, $12/hr for subsequent hours on same day
or
Package rate:$120 for 11 hours*, pre-paid
Rates, EXCLUDING tool rental
Includes use of burner and digitally controlled annealer. Renter supplies own safety glasses, mandrels, bead release, and tools. Renters may bring their own torches. Each station is equipped with a quick-release connection.
Hourly rate: $12 first hour*, $10/hr for subsequent hours on same day
or
Package rate:$100 for 11 hours*, pre-paid
Complimentary studio time*
The secret to building proficiency is practice. To help students apply what they've learned, any individual who completes a class at Expressive Glass receives complimentary rental time with tools to be used within one month of the
completion of their class. Refer to class details for further information.
